Our vocal choir is open to youth and adults, anyone wanting to make a joyful noise to the Lord. The Sanctuary Choir ministers weekly in our 10:30 a.m. worship service, fall through spring, and practices weekly on Thursday evenings.
Cathedral Handbell Choir
The beautiful ringing of our bells can be heard monthly during prelude and offertory in both the early and late services. Open to both youth and adults, beginning ringers and experienced are welcome. The choir practices weekly on Wednesdays, fall through spring.
Christ Church values the participation of our children. Junior Choir provides not only an opportunity for learning music, but also the blessings of being an active part of the church family. Junior Choir practices weekly between early service and Sunday School, spring through fall, and performs monthly.
Marietta Ukulele Choir
Christ Church sponsors Marietta Ukulele Choir as a platform for community connection, to provide a place where the joy of music brings people together. This is an instructional choir. All that is required is a ukulele, music stand, and a willingness to practice. Click here for more information.
Instrumentalists & Vocalists
We are blessed by our many instrumentalists and vocalists. Percussionists join our Sanctuary Choir; flute and guitar with our Cathedral handbells. Brass ensembles and strings add to the melodies during our Christmas celebrations. In the summer, we utilize these musical gifts to enrich our weekly worship services. Let us know if you have a talent to share!
Our Klais pipe organ was custom built for the Christ Church sanctuary by Orgelbau Klais Bonn and installed in 1986. It’s 29 voices lead us in worship every Sunday. When the stops are pulled for Easter or Christmas, the effect is breathtaking. For further details about our Klais organ, read more here…
